Here's the Deal makes a free break-even calculator for small venues and community theaters. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and plain.

What we collect

• Your email address, if you type it into our signup form. That is the only personal information we ask for.
• Your calculator numbers stay in your browser. Ticket prices, costs, deal terms and anything else you type into the calculator are worked out on your own device. They are not sent to us or anyone else, and they are not saved.

How we use your email

We use it to send you the free calculator and occasional emails about break-even math and the Here's the Deal tools. We do not use it for anything else.

Who handles your email

Our email list is run by Kit (kit.com). They store your address and send our emails for us. Their own privacy policy applies to how they handle that data.

Unsubscribe any time

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you are off the list. You can also write to us at the address below and ask us to delete your email address.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your email address or any other information. Ever.

Site visit counts Planned

We plan to use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites. We only see totals, such as how many people visited a page. It is not turned on yet.

Hosting Planned

We plan to host this site on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, it may briefly process basic technical details, such as your IP address, to deliver the page and keep the site secure.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies for tracking or advertising.

Children

This site is for adults who book and approve shows. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child gave us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top. If the change is big, we will tell people on our email list.
